Genuinely amazed, one of the best matches of the decade, and definitely one of the most nuts apuestas I've ever seen.
They'd been feuding for two years, with this being in Aéreo's home field, attacking and fighting each other for two years. I'm currently trying to see if the Bull Terrier (Dog Collar) match can be found as we speak.
The first fall with the both of them trying to outpace each other on the mat, with Villano III Jr. continuously getting there, but Aéreo pissing off and humiliating Villano III Jr. with La Atlantida, not only that, but daring to kneel on La Atlantida? The same move that humiliated Villano III, his opponent's father, all those years ago in Arena Mexico? Too far.
All of these callbacks seem purposeful, because there are moments like Villano III Jr. and Aéreo colliding heads off a topé and the both of them getting busted open, channeling Atlantis vs. Villano III all over again. This is certainly about pride, with Villano III Jr. continually cheating and using his desperation to his advantage.
The bumps in this are insane, with Aéreo even jumping off of a tower, everything into chairs, Aéreo does everything he can for Juarez, while Villano III Jr. does it all for his father. Especially with the culmination where Rey Escorpión hands Villano III Jr. a bottle, but Aéreo stealing the bottle and nailing Villano III Jr. over the head with it, and damn well trying to kill himself with another tope in order to keep the mask, down to the fuck finish with Villano III Jr. getting in at the count of 19 and stealing the win and Aéreo's mask.
Motherfucker. Ciudad Juárez won't see an apuestas this good again. There's beauty in all of this, and I never thought any of the 50+ minutes in this match dragged. It's free on YouTube. After a match like that, there's nothing to say except the implication for you to watch it.
